Larry Page’s Keynote speech on Friday was yet another message from a tech company at the International Consumer Electronics show in Las Vegas. Gracing the stage this week at the Hilton hotel theater has been Microsoft’s Bill Gates, Intel’s Paul Otellini and Yahoo’s Terry Semel.

Google’s Larry Page thinks every device ought to be able to connect to every other device. On PodTech news, his speech which outlines the company’s latest steps toward that end.

Google is a company that seeks to make things simple but powerful. The firm continues to march to the beat of its own drummer. Some industry experts have said the Google mystique will eventually wear off, but users still seem to be hungry for the company’s message — be upfront and don’t try to oversell. Google Co-founder Larry Page rode onto the stage of the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada to deliver the Friday afternoon keynote address to a an audience of consumer electronics industry folks and journalists.

Page registered disappointment over the lack of standards in the tech and electronics industries, which prevents devices from sharing data with each other. He unveiled new initiatives like a video content deal with CBS. Page brought out Robin Williams to help explain the concepts.

We had to cut out comments by the comedian that ran the gamut from bilingual Google services to the apparent coincidence that CES and one of porn industries biggest conferences are happening at the same time just blocks from each other.

Google had an embargo and that didn’t stop bloggers from broadcasting live. PodTech News will post additional detailed audio interviews with the product experts on Google Pack and Google Video tomorrow.

Here’s the full speech from Larry Page on PodTech News.
