LOS ANGELES, September 27, (PodTech News) — Wallop Technologies on Tuesday announced its own social networking site to compete against such heavyweights as MySpace, Friendster and others. Devoid of advertising, the new site debuted at DEMOfall 2006 in San Diego hyping a Flash-based multimedia experience to sepearate itself from the rest of the crowd. The company is relying on the Flash community to translate to an immediate new user base and lets Flash developers create modules or ‘mods’ for members to dress up and enhance their profiles. Wallop Technologies Vice President Scott Arpajian joined PodTech’s Matt Kelly to discuss the announcement.
