Intelligent Storage: How Jaguar Land Rover made the best use of big data and HPC to design the award-winning Evoque.

Manufacturing customers are turning to Intel technologies to make more efficient use of big data for high-performance computing, analysis, and storage during concept, design, and prototyping phases of product development. Intelligent storage based on Intel Xeon processors enables optimizations such as data compression, de-duplication, and automated tiering to better manage the quantity, complexity, and cost of data that big data usage models generate. Scale-out storage architectures use a modular approach to scale performance with capacity beyond the constraints of traditional storage systems while managing the data as a single, shared volume for ease of deployment, data access, and analysis.
