Jinx Walton, director of computing services and systems development for the University of Pittsburgh, discusses her organization’s evaluation of several notification platforms and highlights the strengths of Verizon Notification Services, a fully automated and centralized alert notification service that delivers customized, time-sensitive communications through a variety of means, including wireline and wireless phones, faxes, text messaging and email.
