You may have seen them on the roadways of North America: Natural Gas Vehicles or NGVs. They look like any other vehicle. The difference is, NGVs operate on natural gas as opposed to the fuel we typically pump into our vehicles’ tanks. While increasing numbers of environmentally-sensitive consumers are purchasing NGVs, the largest market for these types of vehicles are fleets wanting to reduce fuel costs and lower emissions. Helping to fuel this trend is Clean Energy, a provider of vehicular natural gas (CNG and LNG) in North America. Company representative Jelena Maslovaric spoke with me at the Alternative Car & Transportation Expo recently.
