While at the Alternative Car & Transportation Expo, I had the opportunity to eavesdrop on a conversation between former Chrysler Chairman Lee Iacocca and Dick Messer, director of the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, (a favorite place of mine in L.A.). Afterwards, Dave and I spoke at length about Iacocca, his legacy and his belief in alternative energy, as well as the mission of the Petersen, its display of a GM EV1 and their application to use one of the hydrogen production vehicles, the Chevrolet Equinox.
