In this third of three podcasts on enterprise data security, PodTech’s Michael Johnson speaks with Bob Cancilla, vice president of disk systems at IBM. Cancilla explains the important role of encryption key management across the enterprise data storage security space, especially with an encrypted drive. Cancilla says that key management, paired with smart storage arrays, and fully encrypted drives presents a formidable security matrix. IBM will soon be presenting its next generation Tivoli Key Life Cycle Management Tool.
