“Convergence is really going to come together in the entertainment space,” said Rob Shaddock, Chief Technology Officer at Motorola, during a general session at JavaOne. He gave an upbeat presentation with Christy Wyatt, Motorola’s VP of Ecosystem and Market Development in the Mobile Devices Business. The presentation was designed to spark Java developers’ interest in creating applications for Motorola mobile devices. “We believe the cell phone is going to become the center of your digital life,” Shaddock said.
