Google CEO Schmidt Says Social Networks Are Hottest Online

SAN JOSE, August 9, 2006 (PodTech News) – Google CEO Eric Schmidt talked with the press about search, network neutrality, the recent AOL search term privacy debacle, and more at the Search Engine Strategies conference at San Jose’s McEnery Convention Center today. “The development to me that’s most interesting is the development of new social networks as online lifestyles,” Schmidt said. “We want to help empower that even more.” PodTech’s Catherine Girardeau reports.
