SAN FRANCISCO, CA, March 22, 2006 (PodTech News) — In a panel discussion on the opening day of the VentureOne Summit, panelists Tim Draper, Managing Director, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Brad Feld, Managing Director, Mobius Venture Capital, and Bill Gross, CEO, Chairman & Founder of IdeaLab, drilled down into the globalization factors involved in venture capital.

Scott Bonham, Managing Director, Granite Global Ventures, who also was part of the panel said, “…Twenty years ago, they would have considered the US as a big enough market, but today it really is a global market. You have to think about building your company, building your expertise… everything about buildingthe company now, it’s more global and so the whole job of venture capital has a global orientation towards it…”
