Microsoft seeks closer ties with Silicon Valley and startups

Dan’l Lewin, corporate vice president at Microsoft, heads up its strategic and emerging business initiatives. This means that he and his team work with startups in Silicon Valley and beyond, and with large companies partnering with Microsoft. Mr. Lewin is a 30-year veteran of Silicon Valley, and has held top jobs at Apple and Next.
