In today’s news, CEA analysts’ very rosy predictions for the holiday shopping season, Microsoft opens Vista’s core to software competitors, online video continues to swoon after the recent Google/YouTube deal — including a new deal between CBS and Yahoo — and Reuters opens a news bureau in Second Life, joining Sun Microsystems, Toyota and other real-world companies with virtual properties.
