Sun Microsystems has the world’s second-largest operating system development team, next to Microsoft. Sun’s Project Indiana is an open-source venture that will allow the community of Solaris users to influence and contribute to the future of the operating system. Ian Murdock, Chief OS Strategist, takes questions from journalists and explains the company’s strategy in open-sourcing Solaris.
