Intelligent Storage: In late 2012, the University of São Paulo began an initiative called Cloud USP to give teachers, students, and staff access to a dynamic IT infrastructure. Based on Citrix CloudPlatform, the private cloud runs on a FlexPod architecture, which includes NetApp storage systems powered by Intel Xeon processors as well as Cisco Unified Computing System Blade Servers and Cisco Nexus switches.
