SoftImage, is known for its character creation and effects tools used by animators and digital artists in the film, broadcast, and video game industries. The company’s software has been used in games created by companies including Electronic Arts and Capcom, as well as films such as Happy Feet. PodTech’s Rio Pesino spoke with SoftImage Product Management Director Bill Roberts at the Game Developers Conference about the company’s line of game development tools on display on the GDC show floor.
