Here is a video that takes you where you rarely can go — deep into Intel’s labs to talk with the people who design and test next generation chips. The scientists and engineers in Hillsboro, Oregon, are readying the latest chip, code-named Westmere, for manufacturing and product release in 2010. They kindly let us invade with some cameras and ask how development is going. The bottom line is that Westmere has some awesome power which translates into flawless HD television on a PC, high-end gaming, and multitasking. It does this by integrating graphics onto the chip, as well as with Turbo Boost and HyperThreading.
