There’s been a growing interest from cost and security perspective in new ways for providing personal computing services. In the first of a three-part series on the topic, Mike Ferron-Jones, manager of Intel’s Emerging Models Program, looks at various personal computing models based on server-based systems, including terminal services, virtual hosted desktops and blade models. In subsequent podcasts, he will discuss client-based models and the results of a study into the current state of adoption.
