At the inaugural (Charles River Ventures) CRV Entrepreneur Idol, presented at Stanford Graduate School of Business, George Zachary of CRV presents to Stanford MBA students about today’s state of early stage venture capital, the rise of consumer Internet businesses, and CRV’s QuickStart, a recently launched seed funding program that lends itself to the current climate. Zachary comments “We are focused on the returns business…We want to return capital on the capital, not just sit around and make 2% of our own money every year”.
