It gets better — the dream car we’re talking about is a zero-emissions sports car that runs on the kind of battery technology most of us have in our cell phones. Seven-thousand lithium-ion cells power the Tesla Roadster, a sexy electric two-seater due on the roads in model year 2007. Martin Eberhard is CEO and visionary behind San Carlos-based Tesla Motors. He spoke with PodTech’s Catherine Girardeau at the Women in Technology conference.
