With a body style designed by Lotus, the Tesla Roadster is capturing the attention of auto enthusiasts who want a sleek, stylish, environmentally-friendly sports car. At $100,000 these electric cars aren’t for everyone, but they are popular–their 2007 model sold out in just four months (reservations for their 2008 models are currently being accepted). While at the L.A. Auto Show, we were the only ones to get a little ride-along with Mike Harrigan, the company’s vice president for customer service and suppport. Tesla Chief Technical Officer JB Straubel also spoke with us for this NextGear podcast.
