BMW’s Hydrogen 7 made its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show. I got to speak with Bill Scully when I saw him at the Chicago Auto Show. Scully is a BMW product specialist. Based on BMW’s 7 series and available in limited numbers in 2007, the Hydrogen 7 is the first hydrogen-powered saloon car. BMW clearly believes the Hydrogen age is here and is dedicating considerable resources to this alternative fuel that emits nothing more than water vapor. But is it viable?
