During the Chicago Auto Show, I spoke with Sage Marie, Honda‘s manager of public relations, about the new Honda Accord coupe. A new look with new stylings and technologies, the vehicle incorporates Honda’s next-generation Variable Cylinder Management technology and features an i-VTEC V-6 engine, to provide higher fuel efficiency. It also features “Advanced Compatibility Engineering Body Structure,” to help absorb and disperse crash energy over a large area in case of a frontal impact. Not just a concept car, the Honda Accord is an actual production vehicle scheduled to be in your local showroom in early 2008.
