GM’s Bly: Plenty of Alternatives

Mickey Bly is General Motors‘s director of engineering for hybrid vehicles. He spoke with PodTech’s Matt Kelly at the L.A. Auto Show about company’s comittment to alternative fuel vehicles. He talked about the new Belt Alternator Starter hybrid system (BAS) soon to be available on the Saturn Aura Green Line and additional hybrid technologies, including the 2-mode hybrid and the PHEV, (once the battery technology is scalable) soon to be availble on the Saturn Vue.
