Kimberly D.C. Trapp is Industry Liaison Officer of Lehigh University’s Center of Optical Technologies with a charter to advance research and applications of optical and optoelectronic technologies. With close to 25 years of experience with Agere Systems, AT&T Bell Labs and Lucent, Trapp’s watched the early and explosive development of the electro-optics industry. Trapp shares her thoughts on the industry today and its future.
