Middleware firm Emergent Game Technologies launched its new set of game development tools, named Emergent Elements, at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. Emergent’s technology has been used in a number of popular video games, including The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion and Sid Meier’s Civilization IV. PodTech’s Rio Pesino spoke with Emergent Chief Technology Officer Larry Mellon about how he feels Emergent Elements will change the world of game development.
