The world’s largest chipmaker and Microsoft teamed up at CES to sponsor the World Series of Video Games, a gaming competition on various platforms, open to the public. On display: PCs powered by the Intel Core2 Extreme Dual and Quad core processors, Xbox 360s and two full-scale replicas of F1 race cars used to play Intel’s R-Factor game. PodTech’s Rio Pesino was there, and spoke with Intel’s Harold Wilhelm about the tournament.
