TIEcon 2006 had an unusual conference feature on the exhibit floor: a community services area. Michael Johnson talked with a representatives from MAITRI, Sankara Eye Foundation, and Global Services Foundation. Each group focused on very different, but equally important areas of humanitarian service from the US to Indua, and from self-help for immigrant south asian women & preventible blindness, to feeding the hungry.
