Dr. Shashi Tharoor is the Under Secretary General for Communications and Public Information at the United Nations.

“In a world where groups and even nations have little or no hope of reaping the benefits of globalization, who can be surprised that they view it as something to be derided and even attacked,” Tharoor told a TiECon audience during his morning keynote.
