IT Best Practices: Intel IT’s Client Build (ITCB) process enables us to efficiently manage Intel’s laptops and desktop PCs, plus over 2,000 software applications. Before developing our current process, it took us six months to release a new build. Now with our streamlined process, we can release a build – including changes to the application stack – every 10 weeks. This process also helps us manage our global PC fleet more efficiently, since we can update all supported platforms at once.
