Every once in a while I see a band and wonder why they aren’t huge yet. I saw one of these bands last weekend: The Bloddy Hollies, from San Diego, by way of Buffalo, New York. These guys play what they call blues-punk-rock’n’roll, I call it amazing. They put on a high-energy performance that pretty much blows away anyone who sees them. So, lucky for me they aren’t so big that they didn’t mind me recording their performance and sharing it with you. If you dig them you can pick up their disk on Alive Records. They’re on tour for the next few weeks and headed East, so if they come to your town by all means go see them. There are tour dates on their Web site.
