The 2006 LA Film Festival, featured the documentary “East of Havana”. In this podcast, PodTech’s Michael Johnson speaks with the films directors Juaretsi Saizarbitoria and Emilia Menocal, as well as the producers, Juan Carlos Saizarbitoria and actress Charlize Theron.

The film is described as “An unflinching close-up on the lives and friendship of three young rappers compelled to address their generation’s future from the confines of a Cuban ghetto.”
