MENLO PARK, June 30, 2006 (PodTech News) — “We certainly want the (telecoms) to recover their investment,” said Art Brodsky, communications director of Washington D.C-based public advocacy group Public Knowledge. “The way to get the money is to let the Internet bloom, to make the network more useful. And you don’t do that by controlling it.” Brodsky talked with Podtech’s Catherine Girardeau about the future of network neutrality legislation, and the telecom bill just passed by the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee.
