Color Coordinated!

GM‘s Creative Designer, Chris Webb, is a colorful character. His job is to find the hottest trends in color and to translate that to vehicles. His work is evident in the Chevy Beat, Groove and Trax, the three concept Global Triplets that GM unveiled at the NY Auto Show. I spoke with him at the event about how much of an impact color has on car buyers’ decision-making process. Studies show a subconscious decision whether or not to buy a product is made within 90 seconds and between 62-90 percent of that is based on color alone! When it comes to car buying, 39 percent of customers walk out of car dealerships when they don’t like the colors they see.
