Cadence Design Systems, Inc., President and CEO Mike Fister kicked off the CDN Live Silicon Valley conference at San Jose’s McEnery Convention Center by unveiling Virtuoso, a new chip design platform, and Xtreme III, a hardware-assisted verification system used at the end of the chip design process. PodTech’s Catherine Girardeau spoke with Fister about CDN Live and Cadence’s announcements.
