Dell’s new virtual edge platform (VEP) product family is specifically designed for uCPE and is the next generation built for virtualization allowing the deployment of virtual network functions like SD-WAN. The platform leverages Intel Xeon D 2100 processors to add flexibility and performance. It also incorporates Intel QuickAssist Technology and DPDK for encryption acceleration.
