LOS ANGELES, September 11, 2006 (PodTech News) — Mobile entertainment industry executives met Monday in Los Angeles at iHollywood Forum’s Mobile Entertainment Summit. On the agenda: discussions over the prospects of reaching 200 million United States mobile subscribers with content, marketing and various applications. While everyone agrees that the potential for growth is enormous, exactly how it all will unfold — and how it will effect Hollywood studios, TV networks, record lables, gaming companies and others — is still far from clear. Telephia, a San Francisco-area research company, has been measuring the communications and new media markets with the goal of profiling the digital consumer most likely to take an interest in the developing media. PodTech’s Matt Kelly spoke with Telephia’s Tamara Gaffney about the company’s recently-released Mobile TV Diary Report.
