She explains how telco cloud is providing operators with greater flexibility, agility, and scalability in comparison with traditional architectures through a nimble software-based service delivery model. Lynn highlights how network function virtualization is a key piece of the transformation to telco cloud and predicts that in 2016 we may see core NFV workloads like customer premise equipment (CPE), integrated multi-messaging system (IMS) and evolved packet core (EPC) being deployed in mass throughout the industry.
