Mergers and acquisitions are hot… you just have to know where to look. John Morris, assistant managing editor of The Deal, says a few of the industries that have heated up are real estate and energy. Morris will emcee some of the onstage events at The Deal’s “M&A Outlook 2008” conference in New York City on Wednesday, November 7th. The sessions will include some of the biggest names in the industry, including Leon Black, founder of Apollo Advisers; Bruce Wasserstein, chairman and CEO of Lazard and Martin Lipton of Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen and Katz, on a panel moderated by The Deal’s Editor-in-Chief, Robert Teitelman. In this podcast, Jason Lopez talks with Morris about the conference and the M&A climate.
