Last week, I was invited to ride on Senator John Edwards’s plane as he visited four states (Louisiana, Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada) following his announcement that he is running for President in the 2008 election. Here I sat down with him in the back of the plane while we traveled between New Hampshire and Nevada where I interviewed him about why he is running and what role social media will play in the election. Sorry for the poor audio and video quality, my super-dooper HD camcorder was broken earlier. Funny enough, just as I was asking him about what he’d like technologists to do, the battery died on my backup camcorder. So, the rest of the interview is available as an audio file (I was using a backup audio recorder, which caught the funny moment).
