Research analyst firm Wedbush Morgan Securities released a report predicting modest growth in video game sales. The company also raised its expectations for the Nintendo Wii and downgraded its prediction for the Sony Playstation 3 and Playstation Portable. WMS’s Michael Pachter spoke with PodTech’s Rio Pesino about the new report, Nintendo DS’s MP3 player add-on and Sony’s announcement not to include an HDMI cable with the PS3.

Reporter’s Notes: The next few months will be an exciting time for gamers, with plenty of new gaming gadgets on the horizon and the release of the next-gen consoles. USA Today published an interesting article on the next-gen war. Nintendo and Sony have also introduced new products for the DS and PSP. Drool on, gamers.
