OAKLAND, CA, June 1, 2006 (Podtech News) – Search engine Ask.com, formerly known as Ask Jeeves, announced today it has teamed up with web blog search engine Bloglines to launch a new blog and feed search capability. Doug Leeds, VP of Products for Ask.com, gave Podtech’s Catherine Girardeau a demo of the new search tools at Ask.com’s downtown Oakland offices. Part one of this report gives an overview of the blog search tool and a demo of how it works on Ask.com, a site known more for answering user’s queries than for finding syndicated content.

The conversation and reaction is on all the major search blogs and on techmeme.com
