BlogWorld and New Media Expo – Las Vegas 2009

BlogHer was one of our favorite conferences of 2006. Why? Beause it was different. You had mommy bloggers talking with tech bloggers and political bloggers. There’s a myth that there aren’t many bloggers who are women and BlogHer is going to explode that myth — last year, nearly 1,000 bloggers attended BlogHer. Inside the first Wiki company, SocialText

I spend almost an hour with Ross Mayfield, founder of SocialText, which is the first Wiki company. Ross is an interesting guy who’s been at the center of a bunch of trends, including Web 2.0, blogging, social media, and boom and bust cycles. We hear what SocialText is up to, and what Ross is seeing from his office in downtown Palo Alto.
