Intel’s introduction of 45nm technology last year brought with it new levels of innovation and data center efficiency. With a trend toward bigger servers using virtualization, however, comes a need for increased performance headroom. In this podcast, Intel’s Chris Peters discusses some of the innovations brought by 45nm, as well as what’s next in virtualization.

Chris also spoke earlier this year about the impact that the 45nm manufacturing process is having on Intel’s Xeon processors.

Chris continues to blog and write about his work at Intel, including answers to come frequently asked questions on 45nm technology.
