<description>I am a sole entreperner and software developer since 1957.

I currently have my own product for the high speed composition of documents for the direct mail business.

The current product can compose up to 100,000 pages per minute.

(My code is tight enough to fit entirely in the CACHE.)

My customer base composes in excess of 2 Giga pages per year.

One of nu customers customer has print capabilities in excess of 1850 pages per minute

My latest version, still under development, can also compose full color PDF pages at about 1000 pages per minute.

In addition, I also have in development a high performance data processing product.

I can properly sort a 1 GB multi-field data file in just over a minute. Many other operations can be performed much faster.

Its not just utube and twiter out here!

I am locked in with MS as my customers are all addicted to MS.

I have an associate that specializes in LARGE data sets. He fixes and converts TB data sets and larger. (Air shipping is faster than network speeds!) He currently has 10 TB of on-line storage. His runs can run into days of processing. Fortunately he can use Linix .

I currently am using a 3GHZ Dell with one of your single core processors, a P4 the sticker says. Its a very nice clean system.

To the point, I and my associate might both be useful for testing out your real world performance.

You seem to be one of the few that appreciate how to build performance.

Maybe some day I will learn how to multi-process properlly.

BTW I also have built 2 operating systems, one from dead scratch. (We faked a loader running the front panel buttons to get into the machine just to get started!) I also built a massively redundant transaction processing system. Fully fledged it would have handled EVERY ATM transaction in the country. We got 4 of 64 nodes up and running before they canceled the project. The thing had only four hot swapable components and the connections were 4 way redundant. You could literally cut a connection and strip it back and solder it togather and with no break in operations. We tested that too.
