IT Best Practices: Episode 29 – IT@Intel is at the forefront of IT evolution in a number of ways. One big change in the past few years at IT@Intel is the company’s bring-your-own-device (BYOD) program. Since implementing the program several years ago, tens of thousands of employee-owned smart phones, tablets, and computers are in use in the workplace. One of the challenges of this new BYOD environment is the change it necessitates in the electronic eDiscovery process for the organization – the process of gathering data for litigation. In this podcast we hear from Steve Watson, Technical Solutions Engineer at Intel IT. He talks about the primary challenges of eDiscovery in a world of employee-owned devices, and how the IT organization can stay ahead of the game in addressing these challenges.
