As computer and network use becomes more widespread, more people are faced with the problem of making meaning out of large data sets. Big data presents not just technical challenges but time and cost challenges as well. In this episode of Future Lab, we look at two innovative ways, BOINC and Dicer, researchers are developing to help people deal with this flood of information.
