It seems really cool how the new mobile broadband technology is changing the landscape and the way we live. I predict that the old ways of internet access will soon be as extinct as the dinosaurs. I guess, that the only cons of broadband technology is, that my boss will always be able to reach me with mails no matter where I am. But it’s a small price to pay in my opinion, when you think of all the ways, that it makes your life easier by being able to handle bank transactions, getting access to databanks, keeping up with your correspondence and a lot of other things, that I wouldn’t normally be able to do outside of business hours. Thumbs up to mobile broadband technology!

Depending on how a company utilizes social media they may look to measure one, or a combination of the above metrics. However the methods used to gain friends, followers, or sales, may provide faulty results if the increases do not result in quality of increase… For example if you use an auto-following tool on twitter so you in a short period of time follow a large number of people, but you only see a marginal increase in site traffic because the number of those who follow you back are much smaller than the overall number you have followed.

There is a plethora of possibilities when it comes to electro-optic technology. Coupled with nanotechnology, the possibilities become almost endless. I especially see promise in defense applications, as Mr. Dalton stated. We could, in theory, create “cloaking devices” that make our ground troops and aircraft invisible to the enemy. Zigbee certainly shows promise for home automation systems and Control4 seems to be doing everything they can to get the products out there – We just need MORE! I like that major manufacturers (like LG) are onboard, it’s a big step towards the integrated home if everything doesn’t have to be ‘hacked’ to make it work!

I have seen his latest prototype being displayed at Market Square in Knoxville, TN alongside an exhibit from VerdeGoh, another Tennessee provider of electric vehicles. I think Mr. McMillan neglected to consider an important side effect of his vehicles aerodynamic design in that it looks like a big red cartoon penis.
