IT Best Practices: Episode 27 – The Gartner Group just released its eighth annual Supply Chain Top 25, identifying global supply chain leaders and highlighting their best practices. It’s an elite group of companies, and coming at number 7 this year is Intel. It wasn’t always that way – as recently as 2008 Intel wasn’t in the top 25. But the company has made a concerted effort in the last few years to transform its supply chain to meet changing market demands. In this podcast hear how Intel underwent this transformation. Dan McKeon and K.C. Quah of the IT Supply Network Capability Group detail the changes the company went through, and the role IT played in implementing the transformation.
