YouTube CEO Hurley Says More Ads Are Coming

MENLO PARK, July 26, 2006 (PodTech News) –“It’s going to be advertising,” said YouTube CEO Chad Hurley said, when asked how he was going to make his company profitable, though he stressed any additional ads on YouTube will not disrupt the user experience. Hurley spoke on a panel on consumer-generated media Wednesday morning at AlwaysOn, a technology networking conference on the Stanford University campus. PodTech’s Catherine Girardeau reports.
