PodTech News on the scene, reports from the International Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas. In this second of a four parts of Paul Otellini’s keynote, Intel’s Chief Executive explained the Viiv platform. This comes from his speech delivered on Thursday, January 5th 2006 at the Hilton Hotel.

“What consumers really want is online content on that big screen, in the living room, in the bedroom, from the couch, or sitting on the bed. In order for us to deliver this, we have to integrate the big screen capabilities, the PC capabilities, and the Internet experience. When we do that, we will satisfy what consumers have been asking us to give them.”
